The May / June 2019 issue of the Environmental Law Institute’s Environmental Forum features an article, “Foiling the Resource Curse” written by Lisa Dale, faculty affiliate and advisor for CRCL’s work with the World Wildlife Fund in Mozambique. She is also a lecturer in the Undergraduate Program in Sustainable Development at Columbia University’s Earth Institute. The featured article addresses whether the principles of sustainable development can guide Mozambique communities toward equitable, resilient outcomes despite the rapid influence of mineral wealth and the pressures of climate change.
