On November 3-5, 2019, CRCL traveled to Tel Aviv-Yafo to deliver the Tel Aviv-Yafo Resilience Accelerator bringing together over 100 municipal leaders and stakeholders, designers, academic and scientific experts, and community leadership, for an intensive facilitated design session to design pilot solutions.

Focusing on three sites—two on Mesilat Yesharim and one at the Shapira Community Center playground and ball courts—three interdisciplinary teams will visualize project concepts, outline implementation plans, and shape principles for future planning. The workshop included intensive facilitated breakout sessions, expert panels and critique sessions, and a public exhibition and community presentation.

Project concepts and planning actions defined by workshop will be synthesized in a report for the public and will be used to advance implementation of heat mitigation strategies.
